Application of Technologies

PERSENTECH has several developed numerous products around several core technologies including GPS, OBDII and RFID.  The products and market applications are based on in-house developments that do not involve any external licensing fees, or any specialized GIS or OBDII development environments. Examples of some of the key application areas where the technology has been deployed include:

• In-vehicle driving assistance and coaching for novice and older drivers
  • Speeding notifications
  • Alerts in areas deemed community safe zones, hazardous intersections and red light camera controlled intersections.
• Proof of Delivery for integration with invoicing systems
  • Location-based information with the date, time and position superimposed on a map and used with customer invoicing systems to demonstrate delivery or compliance with a service or contract.
• Mileage log book
  • Tracking business miles or kilometers for income tax purposes.
• Employment standards code (dependent on jurisdiction) and driving behaviour
  • Keeping track of vehicle use and information that may be used for recovering costs attributable to vehicle accidents, speeding tickets, and abuse of vehicles.
• Wildlife data collection
  • Keeping track of different animal species sightings to generate seasonal statistics on the movement so as to deploy targeted collision counter-measure techniques to minimize accidents and fatalities.
• Idling and Emission "cost-gauge"
  • Displaying the variable cost (fuel), total cost per kilometer of operating a vehicle,  and the vehicle emissions and idling information in order to change behaviour and reduce the costs and emissions attributable to operating a vehicle.

• Fleet management

  • The use of a portable device or smart phone application that can be easily installed and used in any vehicle and moved to any other vehicle without requiring professional installation services.

  • The collection, storage and analysis of vehicle usage and costs incurred while operating a vehicle for business and personal purposes.

  • The generation of on-demand trip reports as well as detailed vehicle usage reports that are required for tax-related vehicle expense purposes.

  • To locate, communicate with, and manage the operation of fleet of vehicles in a cost effective and efficient manner.
